Garrett is a PhD candidate in economics specializing in economic theory. He has primary interests in ambiguity/uncertainty, decision theory, and bargaining. Garrett’s research agenda is especially focused on the nature and consequences of agents who cannot form precise beliefs about the future. With colleagues at Pitt, he also explores secondary interests in the macroeconomics of inequality and development.
